Author and presenter guidelines
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings. A template for abstract is available here.
The venue
Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Biology, Večna pot 111, 1000 Ljubljana (Lecture hall B1)
Hybrid event
The Congress will be broadcasted as a hybrid event. Connection details will be shared with registrants closer to the event.
Official language
All presentations and questions must be delivered in English, as English is the official language of the conference.
Presentation form
Congress contributions can be presented as short oral presentations (15 min) or as a poster.
Posters
Please prepare your posters in ISO A0 size, portrait only. A0 dimensions are 841 mm wide x 1189 mm high.
Oral presentations
Bring a copy of your presentation on a USB flash drive. Your presentation will be uploaded to a conference computer. Please hand in your presentation to the technician during the break before your session starts. Presentations should be in Microsoft PowerPoint (pptx). MAC users must export their presentation as an MS PowerPoint file or save as pdf file. Presentations prepared in LaTeX should be saved as a pdf file.
Golden chromosome
The competition for the Golden Chromosome is scheduled for Thursday, September 29. at 11:00 and at 16:10. All selected contributions for competition will be presented as short oral presentations (12 minutes presentation, 3 minutes discussion).
Registration fee
- Undergraduate students: 110 €
- Early registration members: 150 €
- Early registration non members: 180 €
- Late registration: 200 €
